"I find myriad life lessons and metaphors - everything is relationship, learn the rules first to break them successfully, and strength of negative space and direction. In a culture of speed, instant gratification and sound bites, art illuminates that truth reveals itself slowly. The known becomes the unknown, only to be truly discovered through patient willingness to expand the experience of perception.
I am intrigued by things found in our backyard: plump pumpkins, curious chickens, a self-directed donkey, and new born kittens found in hay stacks. Each teaches me about change, expansion, and decay, all aspects of chaos, which is demanded by creativity."
